Edavaka Mission

“Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your Hearts – Colossians 3:16”

The Edavaka Mission is an offshoot of the Marthoma Church’s reformation process, with a strong emphasis on bearing a true witness to Jesus Christ and sharing in the joy of salvation in whatever position a Marthomite occupies in his/her day-to-day life. The motto of the Edavaka Mission is “Every Marthomite is a voluntary evangelist”. Edavaka Mission members contribute to the growth of the church, participate in mission activities and fundraisers for the same, as well as in youth fellowship and cottage prayer meetings; the Edavaka Mission members also visit the sick and the needy in the community and offer spiritual and materialistic assistance to such people.
