Senior Citizens Fellowship

The Senior Citizens’ Fellowship of Bethel Mar Thoma Church Sydney was formed in 2010 to gather all elderly for fostering one to one relationship and nurturing the spiritual growth of the members. Many in this group are the founding members of this parish, whose prayers, unselfish service, and sacrifice led to the formation of the parish in 1991.   Their continued dedication inspire all the Sydney Mar Thoma Members.

On Senior Citizens day, the seniors help to co-ordinate the service – like Bible reading, giving the sermon, taking the offertory etc. The 40^th Friday Qurbana service during the Lent period is specially organized for the seniors. From time to time, the vicar arranges fellowship meetings for the seniors.
